our story
Rivercrest Farm Events & Vacation Rentals is located near Harrisonburg, Virginia, where we pair the beauty of the Blue Ridge with modern southern relaxation. ​

Inside our unique wedding venue, we combine a unique blend of soft white light and weathered wood, climate control, professional DJ lighting, seating for 250 guests, as well as space for catering for the perfect reception.
With multiple unique ceremony sites, lots of outdoor space and a gorgeous loft, Rivercrest offers the space to stretch out and relax - enjoy cocktails and dancing on the courtyard and have games and couches on the back side for a relaxing evening.

As an affordable wedding venue, versatility makes us special - each couple makes the space their own. From lovely green spring celebrations to brilliant autumn festivities, weddings at Rivercrest Farm surround you with beauty and love.
We are proud to be a Virginia venue with lodging onsite - we offer on-site cabins and rental homes for up to 24 guests, and exclusive, multi-day access to the barn for decorating, rehearsals, and even rehearsal dinners.

Our goal is to provide the perfect place to take the stress out of planning any event. Peace of mind and togetherness in breathtaking surroundings is truly what makes us a wedding escape.
With over a mile and a half of riverfront property, our cottages and Riverfront Cabin Rentals provide the space to relax and the privacy to unwind. Most of our homes boast hot tubs, multiple bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens and river access to play and enjoy. We even have an off the grid cabin rental for the perfect amount of seclusion.

Our venue is centrally located near Harrisonburg, Charlottesville, Staunton, and less than two hours from Richmond, Northern Virginia and Washington D.C.
